Beeches Training and
Support in Dementia to deliver Levels 2 and 3 Awards in Awareness of Dementia Care.
The Awards form part of a suite of qualifications in dementia care that have been developed by Skills for Care and Development, to support government strategies to increase knowledge, understanding and skills of caring for people living with dementia. These qualifications support the changing needs within the sector and are part of the Workforce Development Plan established through the National Dementia Strategy Project (England) 2009.
The purpose of the programme:
To develop the knowledge, skills and understanding required when providing person-centred care for people living with dementia and their families, thereby enhancing the level of care provided.
Why choose Qualifications in Dementia to deliver the programme to your staff?
All our associates are highly skilled specialist dementia trainers with many years’ experience of developing and delivering high quality, effective dementia training in the health and social care sector. This has culminated in the creation of a delivery style that is relaxed and interactive. Assessment tasks are creative and enjoyable and the transfer of learning from the training room to the workplace is guaranteed as learners are encouraged to create resources to share with colleagues.
